Bassist is used to calculate the sound insulation (R and L) of walls, floors and windows. Bassist is based on the same algorithms as the BASlab program that was released earlier by Level.Tools, but has an improved user interface, in which the various options the user can choose from are more clearly mapped out.
Later this year, calculation program BASluco will also be integrated into Bassist. Next to calculating the sound insulation of construction parts, the program can then also be used to calculate the sound insulation between rooms, including flanking paths, according to the EN12354 standard.
